24th Okatoma Festival to be held May 4, 2013

The 24th Annual Okatoma Festival will be held in Collins on May 4 from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. There is no admission fee.

A 5-K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. The festival parade will be at 10 a.m. Join us for arts & crafts, food booths, live entertainment, health fair, quilt exhibit, children's park, fair rides, rubber duck race, golf tournament and much more. There will be a street dance from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. with Cowboy Blues Band.

Forrest General’s Spirit of Women Announces 2013 Spirit Girl Auditions

Forrest General’s Spirit of Women will hold auditions for the 2013-2014 Spirit Girl program on May 3-4. Interested girls entering grades 7 -12 must call FGH OnCall at 601-288-4968 to request an audition packet or visit www.ForrestGeneral.com. Application deadline is April 19 and audition space is limited. Girls must have an appointment to audition.
